Sorting Query
 

Hi All,

I was wondering if there is a way to get excel to sort numerically as below
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11
rather than
1, 10, 11, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

It should sort it in numerical order.

Which version of excel are you using?

Look at some of the options on the sort or is there spaces or text in there?

Sorting Query
 

It will sort correctly if the numbers are truly numeric and not text. Use
the Value function to convert them to numeric and then Paste Special/Values
those results over your column of numbers.
