EXCEL 2003

Rows = 165

Goal: Run a macro that will 'check' if a cell is empty (C5). If so,
copy previous cell (C4) into a different cell C11. IF not empty
ignore. Next row. Once it finishes at row 165, end. Column / rows are
static, data is dynamic.

For example (I will have a separate macro for each corresponding
month):

MACRO 1
Month is February. If M5 is empty, copy data from L5 and past in S5.

MACRO 2
Month is March. If T5 is blank, copy data from S5 and past in Z5.

ETC...

If the cell is not empty, ignore.

If there is a better way to do this, please recommend. Thanks.

For the MACRO1 and MACRO2 efforts, why not just use formula - in February you
could put this out in cell S5
=IF(M5="",L5,M5)
that would put L5 in S5 if M5 is empty, M5 not empty, echos M5, or
similarly for March, in Z5
=IF(T5="",S5,T5)

Please confirm what you're planning in doing in the first Goal - in it you
appear to be working in a single column (C)? That is possibly one for a
Macro. IF so, can you confirm that when a cell (C5) is empty, then the
contents of the cell 1 row above it is to be copied to the cell 6 rows below
it? I.e., if C6 is empty, copy contents of C5 down to C12?
