Other than the comment line which is generated giving the date a macro is
first recorded, is there any way of determining the date and/or time a macro
has most recently been modified?

Nope. In fact Cthat commented date is only a there as the rsult of recording
a macro. it is always good practice when you modify code to comment what was
changed by whom and when to maintain proper version control...
