Highlight Row and Column headers of active cell

Hi folks.

What I'm going for is highlighting the Row and Column *headers* of the
active cell.
E.g. if the Active Cell is E5, I'd like the E and the 5 to be
highlighted.

Presumably the code will be linked to the SelectionChange event,
couldn't get anything to work though.
Any quick fixes wizards?

Regards

Highlight Row and Column headers of active cell

Alex,
That is the normal behaviour of Excel anyway.
In XL2000, the letter/number are Bold, but in XL2002 the header is
column/row is in a different colour.
Not much you can do about changing that, unless you create your own header
columns/rows in A:A and 1:1 and colour those.

Hi Nick, thanks for that.

I got Excel 2002.
The highlighting of the Column and Rows headers is grey.

Any way to turn it into funky orange or sth.?
Couldn't find anything under Tools Options.

Regards

Alex,
AFAIK, nothing in Excel.
If it's your own system, maybe play with the Control
PanelDisplayAppearanceScheme and/or Item.
Not sure if XL reads from these settings though.
