Handling grouped groups

Hello,

I'm working with XP and with 97 before. I have to keep new datas in elements
of grouped groups p.e. textboxes or diagrams. I create the groups as a copy
of a master-group and so I have 3 groups with identical named elements. Than
I group this 3 groups.
In 97 I had a structure, p.e. 3 groupitems in a shape and in this groupitems
I had p.e. 5 Items Text1 to Text5 for my elements.
In the 3 Groupitems I found also the names of my 3 groups p.e. grA, grB and
grC.
If I want to change anything I change p.e. the item "Text1" in groupitem
"grA".

This was so to 2000.

In XP I have in this example 3x5 = 15 items in one groupitem. I can't find
the names of the groups grA to grC. If I look in parentgroup of an item i see
the name of the last element in this group p.e. Text5 and not the name of the
parentgroup grA
The groupnames I can't find. If I ungroup the group I have 3 groups with my
original names. Where are they?

Knows everybody this problem? My way now is to ungroup the groups, change
the datas and regroup. But I want to change them directly like befor in 97
and 2000.
Because I have a long and difficult code from another programmer I must copy
the groups and ungroup the copies sometimes .... terrible.
