DDE links not updating after stepping into VBA code
I have a workbook with DDE links that I am debugging.
It is inconvenient that any time I step into the code the DDE links stop updating and the only way to get them updating again is to exit Excel altogether and launch it again. Closing the workbook is not enough. It happens even if I execute some trivial lines not DDE related. This does not happen when the VBA code is run programmatically. Why is this and can it be avoided? At the moment, every little change requires to exit excel and back which is quite inconvenient. |
DDE links not updating after stepping into VBA code
Is there some kind of event-driven procedures that are activated by a DDE
update? These may be deactivated by stepping through code or editing certain things in the VBE. The DDE may still be operating, but the analysis and display that may be kicked off by the events will cease. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Antonio" wrote in message ...
