Hello everyone,

I have a quick question that someone may know and give me a hint. I am
looking for any suggestion, articles that can help me with this issue:
I need to know how to make Excel not asking for initial when I start
the Excel application. There is probably a switch, small program, tool
, etc which can help me with this. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Teresa, it sounds like you might be on a local network server with a shared
application and someone has set up a control to know who uses the application.
If you are on a local net, you should ask your local administrator about
removing the initial requirement.

Hi JLG,

Thanks greatly for your help. I have been searching for a solution to
my problem for a while and have not been very successful. We have
finished developing our application. The only problem we have is that
we need to find a way to stop Excel from asking user to enter first
name and last name initial when we start Excel the first time. I will
look into your suggestion.
