Install or protect an Excel spreadsheet?
I have a client that has developed an excel application (single file)
that they would like to protect as much as possible. What are the best ways to prevent the code within from being copied? Is there a way to 'install' an excel document so it can't be simply copied and emailed? Any advice is appreciated. Tim |

All you can do is lock the VB project with a password via Tools, VBAProject
Properties in the VBE. That would protect the code against anyone who didn't really want to see it. (Meaning there are ways to break in). -- Jim "web guy" wrote in message . .. |I have a client that has developed an excel application (single file) | that they would like to protect as much as possible.
