How can I transfer data entered into a template to a seperate worksheet in
order to create a database? In other words can a template act as a data form? |

A template should be used to create workbooks using a pre-determined format.
New workbooks are created and save with the .XLS filename and the template is preserved for future use. What is it you are trying to achieve? Thanks for the reply,
I have downloaded a template to record orders. I have also modified it by using data validation (list) etc. So the user will input data into some cells within the template while others are automatically filled using formulas. The user will input for instance the quantity and product code and the product discription, unit price etc are filled automatically. The question is can every template that is filled be transfered onto a seperate sheet in the form of a database?
