Two answers to a true "If": =if(a,b*and c,d)?;b&C true, d false?
 

I wish to do two things if my "IF" statement is true: add "1" to a counter,
and post the new value of the counter to a different cell. e.g.,

=(IF(A6="F"),(($T4=$T4+1)*AND(B6=$T4))).
(true)

The function appears to be valid (I get no notice that it's wrong) but
neither of the "true" actions takes place. i.e., the counter (in T4) doesn't
get changed, and no value appears in "B6", so.....

Can one take two actions if the IF statemtnt is true? If so, what do I need
to do?

I am not sure about why you want to do what you are trying to do. Why not
this:

=IF(A6="F",$T4=$T4+1,"") Then in cell B6 enter =$T4
