How to protect a macro. i.e not allow macro changes
You can protect the VBA Project. In the VBA Editor, go to the Tools menu,
choose VBA Project Properties, then choose the Protection tab. There, check the "Lock Project For Viewing" and enter a password. Note that all forms of protection in Excel are very weak. There are many Tools available that will break passwords. I use XLKey and VBAKey from Passware, and they can break passwords in a matter of seconds. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com (email on the web site) "Fadi Haddad" <Fadi wrote in message ...
