If cell value between dates say "due"

Hi There.
Row 1 contains date information - the last fri in a month. Eg
Cell b1 is 3 Nov.
Cell c1 is 10 Nov
Cell d1 is 17 nov etc

In say A2 there will be a variable date - say 12 Nov
I need a formulae that will put the word DUE in cell d2 (as 12 Nov is
10 Nov, but < 17 Nov...

Any ideas...?
(dont have to worry about excluding weekends!)

Thanks!!!!!!
Regards

Darin

Darin,

I think this question should really have been posted to the Excel
General forum not the programmers forum.

However the following formula should help. You may want to consider
changing the and < arguments to = and <= as necessary so that if the
date is equal to the column header it will fall due according to your
arguments.

Place this in B2 (according to your example) and copy accross

=IF(AND($A2B1,$A2<C1),"Due","Not Due")
