VLOOKUP always required the searching field SORTED?
Please help,
If a worksheet with A, B, C & D fields, so when VLOOPUP every time switching (looking) from field A to D, or to C then sorting to that perticular field is needed? Is there any better solution ? thank so much! |

If the 4th argument of the VLOOKUP is FALSE, sorting is not necessary. VLOOKUP will then look for an exact match and be slower,
which you may or may not notice, depending on the table size. -- Kind regards, Niek Otten Microsoft MVP - Excel "Johan2000" wrote in message ... | Please help, | | If a worksheet with A, B, C & D fields, so | when VLOOPUP every time switching (looking) | from field A to D, or to C then sorting to | that perticular field is needed? | | Is there any better solution ? | | thank so much! | |
