Default What are MICROS in EXCEL and how can I benefit from them?

Hi all,
I just wanted to know how I can use a MICRO in excel. I hear everybody
talking about them but dont even know what one is and what it does in
excel to benefit one of us and our worksheets? I have made a lot of
worksheets
and never used one MICRO. Can someone guide me through?

Thank You
