I have a field that will only take 24 alpha/num. char.. How can I limit data
entered into a cell to 24 char. without having to count char. |

Select the cell, choose DAta / Validation... Under "allow" choose "Text lenght" and the "equal to" and 24.... HTH, Bernie MS Excel MVP "Fred@JFK" wrote in message ...
