Have a look at the application.username property. This can be changed in
Tools/Options/General so it is not exactly failsafe.

Generally speaking macros are easy to defeat in terms of security. Why not
use password protection. File - Save As - Tools - General Options -
Password. Now the only wat to open the spreadsheet is with the password.

Thanks Jim. I did this. It's probably easier than putting a Macro in any way.
