Help!!!. I am trying to calculate hourly pay mixing hours and dollars
 

This is toal time in two colums. If added togeather you get
30:39 20:47 = 51:26. Total pay is 705 if divided on calulator you get $
13.76 per hour. However trying to calulate hours / dollars is killing
me. PLEASE HELP WITH FORMULA.

The issue is if the field goes over 24 hours my 30:39 becomes 6:39.

30.00 39 1839.00 Tot Drive Min
20.00 47 1247.00 Tot Client Min
3086.00 Total Work Min
$13.71 Hourly Rate 51.43 Total Work H:M

PLEASE HELP THIS IS MAKING ME CRAZY AND THE ONLY WAY i CAN GET TO WORK
IS TO MANUALLY PUT 30 AND 20 IN TO GET HOURLY RATE.

figure it out. I am trying to help my wifes business and want to be the

Try formatting the cell(s) with a custom format of [h]:mm (Format/Cells -
select custom and enter [h]:mm in the text box)

then to add them together to get total hours, try this in C1
=(A1+B1) -can also use the custom format above to get 51:26

To get pay rate, enter in D1
=705/(C1*24) and format as currency or decimal

But I get 13.71 as an answer - rounding?
