i want to know whether setting excel program in the current computer
using vba.

Not sure what you mean.
VBA has to run inside an application. As this is an Excel NG, it's assumed
you are running Excel VBA. As such Excel is installed.
But in Word, Access etc you use this to see if Excel is available :

Dim XLApp as Object
set xlapp=createobject("Excel.Application")

if xlapp is nothing then exit sub

Or may be check some registry keys :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Ex cel
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\E xcel
