sorting columns that contain formulas
 

Can anybody tell me if it is possible to sort a column of numbers in
an excel spreadsheet, that contain formulas.
The column I am trying to sort has results that are generated from a
(sum) formula, and I would like to sort the results in descending
order, but still keep the formulas in the resultant cells.
Would I need a Macro or could I make it an automatic sort?
