optimizing excel work sheet
 
hi

i have excel work book containing more than 10 worksheet , each
worksheet cell is interconnected with formula

its taking ages to calculate each cell , and when i make a data entry
its taking ages to go to another cell when i press TAB

is there any way to optimize the excel sheets and speed up the process

Jay,

Go to Tools|Options!Calculation and set calculation to Manual. When you
have completed your data entry simply type F9 to calculate. If you have
UDF's, you had better type Ctrl-Alt-F9. That's it.

is there any macro to do the update i.e F9 function ? when i click on
update button it should do the work of F9
cos as this excel is distributed to many people
