Modal form won't leave
I have a vb routine that calls up a userform to get information, once
completed you click a button and the rest of the process commences back in the spreadsheet. This process can take up to a minute or two depending on the amount of data being processed. The problem is that the userform won't leave the screen, until the entire routine is done. I have set the userform to hide when the button is clicked, I have put another hide command further down in the heart of the code, I have tried the unload command. Nothing seems to work, except for making it NOT modal, then it works just fine, except the rest of the code has already bailed, because it went on without waiting for the information. What am I missing? Surely there is a way to make this window go away. |

Sometimes this happens when ScreenUpdating has been set to false. If that is the cause, setting it back to true before dropping the form usually helps. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Merlin" wrote: I have a vb routine that calls up a userform to get information, once completed you click a button and the rest of the process commences back in the spreadsheet.
