Prevent user from copying pasting at run time
 

I am using the Visual Basic Office Excel Workbook in Visual Studio
2005.

I am placing validations using the Data - Validation menu of excel.
These validations work fine when I type something in the given cell and
tab out, but the validation errors do not display when I copy paste
from another cell, also the properties of the cell from which I copy
pasted gets set to the target cell.
The application allows the user to copy paste in the excel but should
display validation error messages in case of a violation of validation.
There are around 100 columns that need to be validated in terms of
length of the text in a given column; whether only date,number,text can
be entered in a given column and so on.

Also how can i disable the menu options at runtime

Any suggestions in this regards will be extremely helpful.
