autofilter question

when using autofilter, i select a value i don't want, the autfilter gives me
all the rows i don't want to see. i hide them.

how do i see just the rows i haven't hidden?

don't necessarily need code, just how is this done?

autofilter question

Hi Gary..........
Autofilter is designed to DISPLAY the rows you WANT, not to get rid of the
ones you don't., as such. Try using the CUSTOM selection in the dropdown
box and choosing one of the "does not contain", or "begins with", etc
selections to customize the filter for your needs........

Try this, instead:

Click on the AutoFilter dropdown arrow
Select: Custom
On the fields
Select: Does not equal
Select the value you do NOT want displayed
Click the [OK] button

Does that help?
