Need Help with pivot table
Hello,
I have an excel sheet containing data from which I need to prepare a pivot table. I want to prepare a pivot table that not only works for this sheet but is global (the only thing that would be different between the sheet would be the size of the data, header row remaining the same) The pivot should contain the product id no. and the total for that id no. Can any one please help me with this... thanks, D -- Message posted via OfficeKB.com http://www.officekb.com/Uwe/Forums.a...mming/200609/1 |
Need Help with pivot table
Start with your initial data, then
just walk through the pivot table wizard. (Data=Pivot Table Report and Chart) After you layout your table, then it is universal. You can right click on it, select PivotTable wizard, hit the left arrow in the dialog if necessary and change the source of the table. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "dinadvani via OfficeKB.com" wrote: Hello, I have an excel sheet containing data from which I need to prepare a pivot table.
