Default uses of add-in?

i have read that by saving the macro as add-in file, it can be install in
other user com so that they can use teh macro? but how to install the add-in
file?by the way, the add in file is my personal.xls

Default uses of add-in?

If you have saved it as an addin, it will have a file type of xla, so it
will not be in your personal.xls

To install it elsewhere, copy it to their PC, and go to ToolsAddins in
Excel and browse for the file.
