import data from excel

Hi All,

could any one explain me the right procedure to upload the data from excel
to SQL Server and vice versa.
Actually i don't have proper rights in the SQL Server so i can't use
sp_addlinkedserver and openrowset as this required sysadmin and sysetupadmin
rights.

please help.
