arranging row based on a column
 

hi,
can some pne tell how can i arrange data based on a column field.
what i want to do is : i want to arrange the column data in four group.
i need to check whether column entry belongs to a group and arrange
them based on that.

the data in column is group in for group which is in separate excel
sheet.

Possibly use the vlookup worksheet function to lookup the group membership
and put it in a separate adjacent column. Then sort your data on that column.
