Why is this so ?
Hi all,
I found this code that exports, Removes & imports forms, modules & class modules however I can't seem to get the remove to work and when I go to save the workbook my virus protector sees it as a threat or a possible virus so it then prohibits excel from saving. See below for the code and any help would be greatly appreciated. Sub TestExportForm() ThisWorkbook.VBProject. _ VBComponents("Userform1").Export "C:\Userform1.frm" ThisWorkbook.VBProject.VBComponents.Remove "Userform1" End Sub Sub TestImportForm() ThisWorkbook.VBProject.VBComponents.Import "C:\Userform1.frm" End Sub Jason |

Hi Jason,
I posted that code, but in my computer I use Virus protector too and not indicates that codes result as a virus or harmed thing. But anyway see your virus protector, likely the virus protector has been indicated a new file object ort item in a Operating Systems as a virus if not from trusted source!. Check your Virus protector properties. .. Maybe *.Frm as a new VIRUS for your Virus protector Thanks, Halim Jason Zischke menuliskan: Hi all, I found this code that exports, Removes & imports forms, modules & class modules however I can't seem to get the remove to work and when I go to save the workbook my virus protector sees it as a threat or a possible virus so it then prohibits excel from saving. Hi Halim
I just gave it a try and changed the *frm to *.txt and it still came up with the virus alert. Hi Jon
I use Norton Antivirus & Excel 2003. Norton reconizes it as a bloodhound excel macro virus. Jason "Jon Peltier" wrote: What's your virus software? If you search the excel newsgroups for Bloodhound, you'll find a few hits.
Tim Zych showed a way to turn off NAV's bloodhound checker in this thread: http://groups.google.co.uk/group/mic...c8c83a 8f2252 or http://snipurl.com/vjkg Jason Zischke wrote: Hi Jon I use Norton Antivirus & Excel 2003.
