Help in VBA
Hello! I use visual basic 6.3 for Excel programming. When I click on the
help function for Visual Basic I get a long list of different subjects that you can get help on. However many of these subjects are just subjects i.e. they do not return any text if you click on them. That is especially true for the subjects labeled Visual Basic for Applications. Why is that so? I use visual basic for applications (i think. I am programming in Excel so I guess that is VBA, right?) so why can I not get help for that? Is it possible to download additional help? Any help appreciated! Thanks alot in advance! |
Help in VBA
Arne,
The Office/VBA help system has always seemed very flakey to me. Some searches produce a list of matches, which when clicked come up with topics completely unrelated. Or as you have mentioned nothing happens. I have seen topics from say the JET help, which lead nowhere, although I do have the JET help file installed. I too would love any answer.
