I want a template that will prompt a user for the file location of a PDF that
they can pick which PDF they want and it will automatically do the
insert---object---- Adobe 7.0 file

You can use Application.GetOpenFilename to get the path and filename to
insert.
Record a macro when inserting an object.
Combine the 2 parts.
