Can you automatically scale text in a graph? I'm hoping there's a way!
I have a nice graph that I have at the end of my macro that is created. The amount of records that are included vary, depending on the dat range picked in the beginning. Is there code I can put in to automatically scale a graph? Sometime if some of the titles are longer or if there are a lot of entries i will mash all of the titles together so you can't read them. Is there anyway to fix this? I really want to show this spreadshee macro to the boss who I think will be very impressed. I'm using a ba graph with horizontal bars and the labels on the left side. I really hope there is a way, Thanks! ~ -- nbaj2 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- nbaj2k's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=3648 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=57090 |

You can change all aspects of the chart in code.
Record a macro of the changes you would like, then adapt the values to suit your size/scale. NickHK "nbaj2k" wrote in message ... I'm not sure what to do. The labels of each bar on the left side of a horizontal bar graph, sometimes when they are shown the text is all mashed together, no matter how I set the graph, I can't seem to get it to work all the time. It will seem that it is fitting everytime, but certain ones (possibly when the labels are a little too long) are causing it to be all mashed together. Any ideas?
