Macro to find string and remove, but leave the rest of cell conten
Hi All,
My Excel VBA knowledge is pretty limited, I primarly work with Access. I need with the following. I need to create a macro that scan 1 worksheet for any cell containing "XXXXX-changed" with XXXXX being anything a date/string/integer etc.... I need to then remove only "-changed" and set the cell color to Sky Blue. Can someone help me with the function or direct me to where i might find some code I could modify? Thanks, Lee |

Try this link, the values that you see in the macro i.e 52,39 etc are the amount of characters you wish to remove (including spaces) have a play around with it! http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?t=566863 Regards, SImon -- Simon Lloyd ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Simon Lloyd's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=6708 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=569537 |
