Sum related data and move to another sheet
 

Hi - please could someone help me - I am trying to sum a field for all
unique values in another column e.g.

James 5
James 11
Jack 1
Tim 99
and so on with variable names

My output needs to be something like:

James 16 + data from any of the other fields that were in
the original worksheet
Jack 1
Tim 99

Would it be possible to use SUMIF to do this?

Sum related data and move to another sheet
 

Use advanced filter with the unique option on the name column to get a list
of uniques. Then use Sumif to get the sums.
