Update a formula on an inactive sheet
 

Does anyone know how to update a formula on an inactive sheet? I would
like to create a formula on one sheet and have links to it on multiple
sheets that depending on which sheet is activated, it will change the
result... the problem is that once the sheet containing the formula
becomes inactive, it does not update when a new sheet is activated...
