counting drop down box entries
"i have a column which is filled using entries from data validation dro down boxes. counting drop down box entries
A pivot table would be an easy way to do this. Give your column of data a
heading at the top, select all the data, then select Pivot Table and Pivot Chart Report from the Data menu. Drag/add your field to the Row fields area and also to the Data items area.
