I have a listing of eight different classes with different durations. I then
have several people taking either some or all of the classes. I need to get
a total of all the classes, as well as the total number of class days. I
tried this formulua =IF(E30,(E3*C3)+IF(E40,(E4*C4)),0), but if there is
only a value in E4 and not in E3, then I do not get any results. Either E3
or E4 could have a one entered, indicated that 1 class will be taken. The
good news is, if there is value in E3 then I am golden, how can I change this
formula to include results when there is nothing in E3 and only result in E4

Your formula
=IF(E30,(E3*C3)+IF(E40,(E4*C4)),0)

Replace the last zero with an IF statement.. so that the new formula is...
=IF(E30,(E3*C3)+IF(E40,(E4*C4)),IF(E40,(E4*C4)) ,0)

Regards
Scott
