Auditing Code
G'day there Peoples,
My Google searches have produced no result that wasn't going to cost me more than $150 so I'm here to search for knowledge. I'm seeking a program of some variety which can audit VB code. I'm using MS OFfice XP and need something to go through my XL code and locate such things as functions/subs that are redundent, variables that don't get used, etc. I'm not worried whether it's a stand alone program, or a VB module, or any other kind of setup. Just as long as it's free. (I'm trying to develop apps for my work and I'm not getting paid for it. Hence there's no way I'm going to spend money just for them!!) If anyone can point me in the right direction, if there is such a thing, I'd appreciate it. Thanks for listening, Ken McLennan Qld, Australia |

Ken,
Get hold of MZ-Tools. There is an option Other UtilitiesReview Source Code that might do what you want. http://mztools.com/v3/download.htm -- HTH Bob Phillips (replace somewhere in email address with gmail if mailing direct) "Ken McLennan" wrote in message ... I've had mztools sitting here on my hard drive for weeks and forgot to install it. Having now done so, it seems like you're quite correct and it DOES perform the tasks I'm after. It's a good thing that one of us can think =) Thanks for your assistance, Ken McLennan Qld, Australia |
