If there was a sensible, descriptive name for activex, what would it be?

Portable code usually with a user interface that may be incorporated into
many other applications?

Plug in application feature extenders?

Pretested (hopefully) code segments that may be used to enhance your own
development project?

Oh, you wanted just a short name. Perhaps something like

FeatureExtender
FunctionExtension

AGreatToolOftenMisusedEspeciallyOnTheInternet
