Default Inserting a text character via a menu option into...

Hi

I'd like to be able to select a menu option and have a character inserted
into the following locations, when they have the focus.

1) ActiveCell - I can do this using the ActiveCell property

2) Formula Bar - No idea

3) Cell in edit mode - I've seen some code from Gord Dibben that can prepend
or append characters.

4) Function arguments edit boxes whilst inserting a formula - No idea

How do I tell whether any of these are active? How do I insert the text
character into the relevant window.

Thanks

Dave
