if date=then populate cells
 

I want a particular cell's value (i4) to be automatically captured o
the first day of every month. (The value in cell i4 change
periodically.) There is a row set up to capture each month's value o
i4. I do not want the value in the cell to change once the values hav
been captured each month.

In other words, for a field that changes, I want to save a snapshot o
the value in the cell on 1st day of every month. Is this possible
