copy and paste and clipboard contents message
 

I am copying and pasting data using a macro. After the data is successfully
copied and pasted i get a message:

Large amounts of data are on the clipboard do you want to be able to paste
this data into a program later?
yes no cancel.

Can i just clear the clipboard in my macro to avoid this message ??? or
circumvent the message?

Try the DisplayAlerts Property. This can be used to turn off alerts during
execution. Be sure to set the property to true at the end of the Macro.

Hello Dr Chuck,

DisplayAlerts will automatically select the default button on the
dialog. I have never had the dialog you describe be displayed so I
don't which button is the default.

You can try clearing your clipboard before the macro exits by using
this line of code...

Application.CutCopyMode = False
