Same code - errors on different machine?

I have some VB script code that copies the entire contents of a sheet
from one workbook to another (both wbs are open). It works on one
machine but fails on the other. The failure states "run time error
'1004' - the copy and paste are not the same size".

Maybe so, but why would this work on one machine and not the other????

What would be the differences in the comuter environment to look for to
help eliminate or narrow down this issue??????

Both machines are XP Pro version 2002, mine has SP1 (runs OK) and the
one it fails on has SP2.

Thanks,

could it be a problem with merged cells in your data?

I usually get a copy / paste size not the same error when I try ot copy
paste merged cells.

No merged cells that I know of on either the source or destination
sheets... I will double check though, good thought...

I'm writing a subset sample that I'll attach to the next post -- for
others to test to see if this happens on their machines.

Thanks,

Just got done writing the subset of the subset code - I tried it on the
machine that was failing and the copy works. The source sheet that it
was copying was simpler so I'll try the exact sheet that it was trying
to copy next..... iof that fails it narrows it down to THAT sheet (as
suggested already)

Well, it seemed to be the sheet I was copying. I reinstantiated the
sheet and now it copies fine.

The question still is though may never be resolved....

Why would it work OK on one machine and not the other???
