Hi Everyone,

Have a quite specific problem.

I am using a data sheet to hold all my information.

Each row is a Service with each column representing an attribute of this
service.

I also have a report sheet that displays a single service in a nice
readable format, each row is an attribute of that service.

This report sheet uses a macro to retrieve and update the central data
for a single services.

Prob not the best way of doing things but I have some constraints.

Now i have multiplpe users who will need to modify the services so i
have shared the workbook.

The problem is that if user 1 is in the form view and typing data
(before running the macro to put it into the data sheet) and user 2
saves the workbook then user 1's form view will be over written with
what user 2 had in those cells.

Ive thought of 2 easy workarounds but cant find out how to do them:

1)when a user updates the service then only the data worksheet is saved.
Not sure if this is possible to do though?

2)share only the data sheet of the workbook?

How about simply giving read access to the second person to open th
book
