Send email based on date value

Hi all,

I have a spreadsheet that stores re-certification details for people. What
I need to be able to do is look in a cell in a row, and if the date in that
cell is within 90 days of todays date, send an email using an email address
stored in another cell of the same row.

I have the code for the email worked out okay, but I can't figure how to
select which people (rows) to send the email to

Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers

hi Billie

For example this
http://www.rondebruin.nl/mail/folder3/message.htm

In column C :yes or no ( if the value is yes it will create a mail)

In column C use a formula like this with the dates in D for example

=IF((D1-TODAY())90,"No","Yes")

Ron,

Thanks very much for your help ... it works like a dream. I have now got it
set up so that when the spreadsheet is open, code runs and pops up a message
box telling me there are x staff requiring recert, and asking if I want to
send reminder emails. If I select yes, the rest of the code runs and puts
"Yes" in and "Email Sent?" cell, so that the same record won't get picked up
by the msgbox on next startup.

Thanks again,
