Working with Outlook and Excel from Access
Here is what I want to do:
I have a folder under my Inbox (PPS) which was 50 - 60 e-mails, each e-mail is a price list for a different supplier held in an Excel Spreadsheet. Each spreadsheet has the same sort of structure. I want to open Outlook from Access scroll through each mail item and open the attachment. The purpose is to load the many price lists into a standard database. I think I can do the openning of outlook and selection of each mail item, but I don't know how to open the attachment so that I can work with it. Any tips or example code would be most welcome. -- Tony Green |

Not possible to do what I was trying to do. I had to save the attachments into a directory, the use Excel to open the file direct from disk -- Tony Green "ADG" wrote: Here is what I want to do: I have a folder under my Inbox (PPS) which was 50 - 60 e-mails, each e-mail is a price list for a different supplier held in an Excel Spreadsheet.
