Have macro run automatically as soon as excel is opened.
I have a macro in excel. I open excel. Hit Alt+F8 and then I click on run.
Is it possible to have this macro run as soon as I open the excel workbook? |

If you name the macro Auto_Open, it will run when the workbook is
opened. "Dtown Dawg" wrote in message ... I have a macro in excel. I open excel. Hit Alt+F8 and then I click on run. Is it possible to have this macro run as soon as I open the excel workbook? |

Thanks for your help, and sorry if I caused frustration as I found this
answer posted about 10 different places after I posted the question. Now is there code that I can add that will do the following: 1. Have a message pop up that says "Please be patient while Macro Runs" 2. Then have the macro close excel. Thank you.
