removing tabs and newlines
 

Hello - I need to assign an entire htm file to a variable without tabs and
newlines. In perl, you can replace regular expressions. What do you use to
replace tabs and newlines in vba?

Hi Mike,
See TrimALL macro and comments concerning it at
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/join.htm
as far as tabs (09), and carriage returns (13), and line feeds (10)
are concerned. -- you will have to make some additions to the macro.
But are you pasting formatted text, or are you pasting HTML coding.
