Reset Excel Defaults
I teach Excel and we go through a customize the environment
(Tools/Options/General-Username), Add-Ins, Customize toolbars and menus, etc. So I recorded a macro to see what would stick and I only got the General Options and Addins, not reset customized toolbars or menus; Any ideas how to reset this stuff easily? TIA for any ideas!!! |

I am sure you can't do this with a macro recorder here's the microsoft site to hide and restore toolbars http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=213487 I saw J-Walk also has a code that will read what ever toolbars are showing and store them onto a worksheet when the file is open and then restore them again when the workbook is closed, it's in the "VBA Programming for Dummies Book" -- davesexcel ------------------------------------------------------------------------ davesexcel's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31708 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=543898 |
