excel references
 

I am facing a wierd problem with excel references. The references (to
other excel files) do not open up automatically when I try to open the
excel workbook in internet explorer. However, these references show up
when I approach a particular command button in the workbook. Otherwise
I get a compile error on clicking any other buttons on the worksheets,
the corresponding code for which lives in these external references.
Any thoughts?
