Using AutoFilter

I have a worksheet with certain data in one column which is used t
assign each row to a certain group or category. Is there a way to us
AutoFilter on this data even if I don't know what the actua
group/category names are

If it helps for clarification, I'm looking for something similar to ho
Worksheets work, where you can use an index number to access th
worksheets, instead of using actual sheet names
